New Delhi: Equipped with numerous phonelines and PC frameworks and kept an eye on by educated adolescents, a “scaled down war room” has been set up in the fund service to manage emergencies identified with the usage of GST.
Focal Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) boss Vanaja N Sarna revealed to PTI today that the unit will go about as a fast asset place for focal and state government authorities to address their questions on the noteworthy duty change booked to be executed from July 1. “The fund service has set up a GST input and activity room particularly for government authorities to approach it with any earnest questions identified with issues of GST in any territory,” she said.
Sarna said the activity room, which will work from 8 am to 10 pm, will give incite reaction to questions raised by states and focal government authorities. A group of technically knowledgeable youthful officers will be keeping an eye on the “war room” to help authorities in settling their GST-related inquiries, sources said.
The room, furnished with PCs and telephone lines, will go about as a solitary window for everything without exception identified with the GST, they said.
